Oliver was born on December 20, 2021 in Kailua, Hawaii, and in 2023 he made the move to Texas, where he's called home ever since. Now a happy, good-natured young terrier mix, he's looking for his next chapter — and his forever family.
At about 45 pounds, Oliver is a medium-sized bundle of energy and affection. He's athletic through and through, happiest on a long walk, a hike, or a good run. Give him another dog to play with at the park and he's in heaven — but he's just as content curling up nearby after a big day outside.
Oliver is easygoing in all the ways that matter. He's house trained, rarely barks, and rides calmly in the car, making him an easy travel companion. He's sweet and gentle with everyone he meets, kids and adults alike, and gets along great with other dogs. He even shared a home with a cat and did just fine, though that would be worth testing again in a new household.
Oliver has spent the last while living with an elderly couple in Texas who loved him dearly but can no longer give him the care and activity he needs. He's healthy, up to date on vaccines, and neutered — just looking for a family with the time and energy to match his.
The ideal home for Oliver is an active one: a family with a yard, room to run, and ideally another dog to keep him company — though he'd do just fine as an only dog too. If you can offer him time, exercise, and affection, Oliver will return it tenfold.
